  The title ‘how to bathe a cat’ seems on the same level as ‘how to give pills to a rabbit’-I’ve NEVER been prescribed pills before.
  
  We went to see a different vet as my vet is home based, so if we saw her we’d need to see her then another clinic for all the bloodwork, radiographs etc so we went to Rupert’s exotic dentist vet who couldn’t see him, but another less experienced vet did and then consulted with other vets for us.
  
  Anyways we needed baytril and not only did they not have liquid, when we phoned around no one did. So I got pills. Seriously never been given pills for a rabbit before.
  
  For over one week I’ve been grinding them, mixing with apple juice and getting ferociously bitten by Rupert while giving them. I have bites all over me, Rupert is getting stronger muscles in his arms, legs, neck and teeth -just been terrible all around.
  
  I don’t know why it didn’t occur to me, but tonight I tried tucking them into raisins-and he ate them, happily, and then licked my fingers. It was that easy???

  Wow! Awesome idea! Thanks for that. I might use it – except that I have to give Morgana 1ml of antibiotics every day for 4 weeks, and if I injected it it no raisins, that could be a lot of raisins. And a lot of sugar. But that does give me the idea of possibly inserting the liquid into another fruit. Or mixing it with a drop of fruit juice. Morgana is really difficult to handle. She is terrible at taking oral meds. She would bite me too, so I wrap her in a towel.

  I tried crushing up pills and hiding it between two slices of banana. Did not work very well.

  Great idea with the raisins. Like those Pill Pockets for dogs and cats.
  
  Was prescribed pills for my Winnie horse once. That was fun…..and there were 30 2x a day.
