I have two holland lop sisters who are four months and I just took in a male who is one because it was urgent for him to be rehomed. About a week or so ago I noticed a couple untouched Cecal pellets in the girls’ cage. I wasn’t too worried until recently I noticed that it is almost ALL they are pooping. I feed them Dumor Small animal classic diet pet rabbit food. It has 13% of protein and 16-21% fiber. They used to have as much as they wanted but I’ve started limiting it. They almost always have access to plenty of hay. They always have water. They hardly get lettuce, carrots or treats. They probably have 1-2 baby carrots or a leaf of lettuce once or twice a week. I have no idea what is wrong with my babies. Is it the food? The stress of a new bunny? If anyone has suggestions, I’d really like to hear them. ?

Do you know if it’s both bunnies or just one?

Not unusual – most young rabbits don’t eat all their cecals – they usually have a higher protein diet because they are growing. I wouldn’t worry other than it’s messy to clean up.

Considering how much there is, it must be both
