Personally, I think you need to go with your gut here. If Olive did that, I would know there was something wrong. But if your bun has done this before, then maybe there is nothing to worry about. However, I think in general if your bun is refusing their favorite treats, then it’s time to be on high alert for stasis. Did you hear any gurgling noises? Some are good…just not loud ones. How was his poop this morning ? Has there been poop since, has he drunk water ? Do you have cc, simethicone or anything else on hand if needed ?

He might be holding a grudge if he is upset by his unfamiliar surroundings. We don’t know your bunny, so I agree with OliverBunny that you need to go with your gut. You know him better than anyone else.

Also watch for loafing or tooth grinding, this can indicate pain.

No food is a good sign. I would watch his intake/output and activity if it were me, but hold off on panicking.

Loafing is when the bunny tucks his legs in so you cant see them and sits down. He ends up looking like a loaf of bread with a bunny head. Keep in mind, though, that loafing is not necessarily bad….it comes back to knowing your own rabbit. Lots of rabbits loaf while relaxing and it is no cause for concern. Loafing, though, off by himself (as in deliberately secluding himself), while grinding his teeth loudly or generally looking uncomfortable or unhappy is a bad sign.
How is he today?

How long have you been there? I bring my rabbit with me to visit my parents and in-laws three times a year, and he typically does what you’re describing for the first day. Especially at my parents house, he just hides under the bed and won’t let me pet him, when he typically loves snuggles! After adjusting to the new surroundings, he starts eating and pooing like normal. I would just spend as much time with your rabbit as possible while you’re there, and keep it quiet so he knows it’s safe.
