NANERZ!!!!!!

Both of mine go absolutely bonkers for banana. If you give them fresh banana, it makes them really hyper too. That being said, it took about a dozen tries before Wooly would try it. When I first offered it to him he would wrinkle his nose and back away. Finally he got up enough courage to try it and then he loved it.

My oldest absolutely loves little chunks of applies, will rip them out of your fingers as if fearful of you taking it back, but, doesn’t like bananas! My little one is the exact opposite. Loooves his chunks of banana but cant stand apples and will turn his nose up to them! Its weird to cause he loved apples when he was a wee one. It was so cute when they were babies cause the juice of the apple would foam up and looked like they had rabies! Scared my father LOL

I love your rule 4 on farmers markets :3 I cant take mine as they are so little. I think most people would stomp them before realizing they were there. Even I trip on a bun bun now and then on accident when they decide to zigzag between my feet

My bunnies all love all fruit. I haven’t found one they don’t like. But Lancelot can’t have fruit. His little belly gets out of whack and his caecotrophs get soft if he eats any fruit at all. I was giving him 5 blue berries or half a grape a day – but even that was too much sugar for him. Poor little guy. He was raised on candy before I got him so he is quite the sugar fiend. He buzzes and runs around my feet, and headbutts me for food. While I was giving him fruit, he charged so hard at me I would drop the fruit so I wouldn’t have to find out what would happen to my hand. It was crazy cute. Bananas, absolutely.

I can’t even say the word banana or nana when I’m around Boonie. She knows that word and comes running and goes absolutely crazy for banana, jumps up, begs, I can barely get it ready for her without her all over me haha.

I love the squishy noises it makes in her mouth too lol, so cute as her little tongue darts in and out trying to get all the squishy nana in her mouth.

She also loves blueberries, I think she’s just in love with B words, Boonie is a bunny who loves banana and blueberry

Accidental double post oops

Ox loves his nanners! He’ll come running out if he even suspects I have one. If I eat a nanner without sharing and he smells it on me, I get foot flicks, glares, and bunny butt.

I have to give Hugo a banana again, but the first time I tried, he just looked at it. I don’t think he realized that it was food! He had the same reaction to Oxbow’s strawberry treats, but after I put one in his condo, he got curious and tried it and learned that it was yummy. Now, he eats them happily. He can be weird about unfamiliar smelling foods sometimes (he shunned basil, mint, and cilantro for a while, but after he realized that mint was good, he instantly started liking the other two). I think he’ll learn to love banana after he gives it a proper chance. Little weirdo.

Mr. Binkins is a nutter for banana. I always give him a bite. But you cant sit down at all eating one. He climbed onto my shoulder and tried to steal the entire thing from me. If he’s loose in the house, I have to stand and eat it. He’s even tried to climb me while I’m standing, once.

Have any of you ever experienced the banana butt twitch?

Moxie loves bananas, but is a little more cautious (i think) while eating it now. I think she needs to make sure I don’t have a medicine pill stuffed in it for her lol.

Sukka is still on her hay-water diet following her tummy troubles, so I’ve never tried to give her banana yet! To be quite honest, she’s so ridiculously greedy I’m pretty sure it makes very little difference what I give her, she devours everything as if it were her favorite thing in the world.

Tossu doesn’t like banana! He’ll pick at it a little and leave it in the bowl to get smushy and icky. Green grapes, on the other hand… He’s absolutely crazy for them. Trying to eat grapes on the couch in this apartment is a virtual impossibility, because there’s this little red thief that attacks your bowl as soon as you let down your guard for even a second!

Fuji also goes bananas for nanas! Ill be on one side of the room smacking my lips full of bananas, then all of a sudden, from the other side of the room, Fuji stealthily appears beside me. Then of course she is all over me trying to reach even just the peel of the banana! They are such desperate little food junkies.

But I do agree with MoxieMeadows, a video of this butt twitch might have to happen.

I have seen the banana butt twitch , but never knew why they do it?. My bun goes crazy over bananas! You either have to stand and eat and see a bunny circling you feet , or if you sit on the couch she’ll jump on to my chest and go inside my mouth. She sometimes sits and makes a kind of sad looking face to guilt me into giving her a tiny piece!

Banana is the magic word is this house! Don’t know where the bunny is, or he’s not answering to his name? Say “banana” and he materializes!

Chester gets a slice of dried banana every day, but he loves the fresh stuff even more. The other day my boyfriend had one. Chester was in the bedroom sleeping, so he thought he was safe. Two bites in and here come a bunny sniffing the air! He then proceeded to jump on him and corner him into giving him a bite. Chester is quite small, at 1.9Kg, and my boyfriend is over 6 feet tall, it was hilarious to see him overpowered by a little ball of fluff he does that to me all the time, but I’m on the petite side.

That’s cute. That sounds about like what Lancelot does every morning and evening for any kind of fruit, pellets, food, etc. About bowls me over with his tiny little fluffiness.

I’ve heard of quite a few bunnies that only do the butt twitch for bananas. They’re just THAT good!
