So a few weeks back me and my husband went to his new work partners house
For a meal and I asked to use their toilet. In their downstairs toilet was a beautiful
Rabbit in what I can only describe as a large hamster cage. He was on a bed of hay
With what looked like iceberg lettuce just scattered on the floor. I immediately felt
Terrible for this lil fellow.
I told my husband on our way home and he agreed it seemed cruel.
Anyway on Tuesday I was in hospital with my son who has cerebral palsy and my husband
Came after work and mentioned the aforementioned couple were getting ‘rid’ of their rabbit.
I told him to go at once and fetch him. He did bless him. He’s now in a huge indoor cage
With several chew toys and he’s given the run of the house almost all day as I’m home look in
After my disabled son. He’s a beautiful rabbit. And he’s on pellets as well as dandelion leaves
Me and the children went and picked for him. He’s extremely tame and I have him in the vets
Tomorrow as he’s obviously not neutered and never had his claws clipped.
The thing that worries me though is that he is NOT afraid of the Hoover. He will even sit on it
As its going round. Is this normal or should I be concerned his hearing is affected. Especially
Seeing as my son can squeal at times while the rabbit is sat on his knee and the rabbit just
Doesn’t bother.
