  Our rabbit, Pierre, is very loved, exercised etc, but the fact is he is a noisy bugger at night, and having him in our room is our choice and preference, so we have decided to move him into the walk-in wardrobe at night to get some peace where there is plenty of draft but no noise from him while we are trying to sleep haha.
  
  But having to drag his heavy enclosure in and out of the wardrobe every day is not only annoying but not good for the carpet.
  
  Thus I have a few questions that lead to the last summary question:
  
  1. how much do bunnies HAVE to eat, sleep, exercise while we are busy snoozing?
  
  2. How big does it have to be?
  
  3. How brassed off will he be with us putting him in another foreign establishment every night if so?
  
  I was thinking therefore that a nice little cosier house with a bit of food and water with him if he so wished would be nice, and every morning we take him out into his large spacious enclosure again. Something smaller would be good to just stay in the wardrobe and not need to be lugged around daily.

  Since he is noisy at night he must run around a lot so he should have a spacious area and give him whatever food and water he has in his normal pen. Also, drafts aren’t that good for rabbits. He will probably not like the new establishment at all at first but may get used to it.

  Ah I see, Yeah I was afraid that he would need that. It makes it difficult because having the bun in the wardrobe is very … snug haha.
  
  CHeers though, may have to come up with some kin of fiture for a decent sized house for him in there or maybe another spot.
  
  I thought it better to gie him some air from the other room than leave him tightly enclosed with little air (I assume) in the wardrobe though … hmm.

  I’m not sure what your living situation is, but is there any way that he can simply be kept out of your bedroom to freeroam the rest of your place while you sleep; either by closing the bedroom door or by putting up a gate? He could maybe have a mini-base set up in another room with food/water/hay/etc so that he’s not as upset about being kept from his regular home-base?
  I’m sure if he’s an opinionated guy that he’ll probably be a bit put off at first, but could adjust as long as he still has plenty of food, water and space to play.

  How many rooms do you have in your place? IS there a spare bedroom your bunny could use? Or maybe space in one of the living areas other than yoru bedroom where you could set up an exercise pen? Or perhaps a way to gate off a part of the house for the bunny? Perhaps create a new homebase in a part of your place where you wouldn’t mind him exercising at night – and then getting him slowly use to the new home base?
