Hello everyone! ^_^

I just got my pet rabbit Marshmellow two days ago, and have been researching everything under the sun to welcome my little bunny home. One thing has been coming up with very mixed answers, so I was wondering if you guys could help me out. I’m wondering if at 3 months should I give my rabbit unlimited access to pellets? And if so, at what age should I start to limit the consumption of the pellets? And also when should I begin to introduce fresh veggies? 

I have only had it (unsure of gender at this moment, I tried to look for myself after research but I struggled to see anything other than its anus) for two days so I can only be sure its been eating hay for that long, some websites say to wait 2 weeks for the rabbit to have hay in its diet before introducing fresh foods. Some say to stop giving unlimited pellets at 6 months, some say 5, some say 7-9 months so I’m very unsure of this >_< 

 Right now I have a shallow bowl that I fill once a day with pellets, and my bunny seems to go through it at a good pace. I have given it unlimited access to timothy hay, and just a bit of alfalfa hay and of course fresh water in both bowl and bottle forms. The rabbit eats both the hay and the pellets equally, doesn’t seem to prefer one over the other. It began to immediately eat the hay once I put it into its cage. 

Also as a side question I was wondering if letting it roam around my bunny safe room will make it harder for it to be potty trained? I’ve been letting it get plenty of exercise outside of the cage with me close by, and introduced a litter box last night. It seems to understand that pee goes in the litter box, but still poops everywhere outside of the cage, I put all the poops I’ve found into the litter box to reinforce thats where it should go. (Thankful of hard bunny poops lol! Never thought I would be saying that haha!) 

So sorry for so many questions, but I just want to have the best conclusive information for my rabbit friend. It has taken quite the liking to me as I have to it, so many bunny kisses gah! I’m in heaven lol, I can’t stop thinking about Marshmellow(name is because its all white and fluffy like a little marshmellow hehe) Thank you all SO much again! For answers to any of my questions.
