So far, Tossu isn’t all that impressed with what little he has thus far seen of his new girlfriend, Sukka.
He’s a little of the opinion that he shouldn’t have to share his humans with anyone, and he thinks losing half of his territory for a few months is a steep price to pay for getting a lady friend… but I’m sure it will all turn around once they’re properly bonded!
Sukka is a ten-week old French lop that we got from her breeder on Sunday. She’s going to be the companion of my very rambunctious 8-month-old New Zealand Red boy Tossu, once she gets sterilized. So far, she’s turned out to be a shockingly calm individual, though I suppose that’s not unusual for French lops… We’re eagerly awaiting getting to know her better!
I’m having some issues getting used to her lopness after having dealt with straight-eared bunnies until now – her head always looks like it’s “unnaturally low” to me, even though she’s holding it at a normal angle, I feel like I could step on her little ears at any moment, etc… This will certainly be a change from my rabbits so far. I’m also a little terrified (and excited, of course!) of what challenges her future size will bring, apparently her mother is quite a large lady! Even if she were to turn out a small French lop, she will be larger than any of my bunnies so far. I’ve always wanted a Frenchie, so I’m very excited about this. <3

She’s a bit of a diva – apparently, ovens can be used as mirrors!
“What is that thing over there, and when is it leaving?” says Tossu!
