When it started getting hot, we put a small window ac unit in our bedroom and moved Mr Binkins cage in there. When it was cooler, his cage was in the kitchen. He’s used to having the run of the house. Because our landlord is basically useless, the two windows in the living room don’t open. So it gets pretty hot in the house other than the air conditioned bedroom. Binkins is used to getting the run of the house. Even though the living room is ridiculously hot, he still wants to go in the living room and kitchen. We have a fan blowing ac air from the bedroom and the living room, but it doesnt do much to cool it. He also has an ice bottle and cold wet greens in there. Sometimes I catch him laying in the middle of the room, away from the fan or ice bottle. Should I try corralling him in the bedroom where I know he’ll be cool, but he goes stir crazy in, or should I just trust that if he gets too warm he’ll take care of himself?
