I’m not getting any ideas about a particular breed.
From her length I would say she should be 4 to 5 lbs, so you’ve got your work cut out for you. I would be tempted to give her an alfalfa diet till she’s closer to a healthy weight. I would just be worried she needs to be feed really carefully and start out slow to avoid upsetting her stomach.
I can’t believe someone would leave her in a cage like that. Bad as it is to abandon a domestic bunny in the woods by releasing it, at least then it can find food and try to avoid predators. Trapped in a cage like that though is certain painful death. She’s lucky people found her.
I have no idea for breed, but I agree about the weight. I have her on a bit of a bigger diet for now. Giving her some extra food, all tame things that wont really upset her tummy. Also getting an idea of what she will eat.
Her cage I have at the moment isn’t a good size, too small, but that will be fixed as soon as I can. ((Tomorrow))
It was really messed up at what they did. When she was found she was caked in mud and ticks. Boyfriend saw me holding her, and saw the look on my face and knew we were walking home with her. She loves him already. Found her asleep on his chest while he was napping on the floor already!
