I recently just got a new rabbit and i put her in a box next to my other 8 year old rabbit they are both female and both unspayed the new one is only 3 months old and after a while together i put them in a new cage together they looked around a little bit then layed down and relaxed they dont seem to have shown any signs of aggression after about 4 hours of being in the same cage they have licked each other and layed down close to each other so im wondering if i should still be worried about them fighting they seem to be getting along fine but will they act differently throught the night

I feel like them being unspayed could prove to be a problem in the next few months if the younger bun hasn’t reached sexual maturity and the hormones from them being unspayed causes them to scuffle. I personally would be a little nervous leaving them together overnight, but if you were to leave them together I’d be positive that the cage + the space they’re in is neutral, just so the older bun doesn’t have territory issues to get mad about. Definitely continue to observe how they act around one another!
