When I picked up Luna my sister Lexi also picked up a little grey lion head…I very much tried to talk her out of it because I only wanted one bunny for now, and Lexi is very well known for getting things and then within a day or two becoming completely disinterested in them. But I could NOT sway her or change her mind, so she came home with a bunny
. Since day one I and my mother have had to harp on her about cleaning the litter box and cage, buying the rabbit toys, taking it out to play with it, letting it have some free time to stretch it’s legs, etc, etc. Finally I had enough of it and today brought the bun into my room and officially took her in as ‘mine’ (in it’s too small store bought cage…thankfully she’s still very small and she does spend most of the day in my fairly large bathroom as a free range bunny. I had planned on only having ONE bunny and do not have the room for two large X-pens in my room right now…Luna (my holland lop) has a 4X4 x-pen with hideaways and toys and mats and beds…but her and the new bun do NOT get along (plus new bun slips through the slats on the X-pen with absolutely no problems) so new bun is in a 3X1&1/2 little cage, and the bathroom when I’m home and my dog is out with me (instead of a kennel I just put the dog in the large bathroom…plenty of room to move around but nothing he can destroy or get into…plus he barks when you put him in a cage). I’m going to attempt to construct a NIC condo in a corner here soon, I just have to wait a few weeks till I get paid again/I pay off the bulk of my horse’s vet bills…I’ll probably post pictures of the area when I can so y’all can help me think of some ways to accomplish this…and my gosh was this a long tangent. Sorry!!!) My sister had originally named her Elizabeth Taylor or ‘Lizzie’ for short…but I am NOT a fan of the name for whatever reasons
I’m looking for a Harry Potter themed name (my other bun, Luna, is named after Luna Lovegood and I would love to one day adopt an English Angora male as a pet and for the fiber and name it Neville), and so far I like Bellatrix and Lavender (I’m probably leaning towards Lavender out of those two names…but I’m not sold on them at ALL)…anyone else have name suggestions or ideas?

Oh my goodness! She is so darn cute! I’ve never even watched a Harry Potter movie all the way through so I will be no help there.

Hmmmm…I like them all so far. Gah! I have such a problem making decisions of any sort. I’m definitely set on a Harry Potter inspired name, just because I have a theme that must be followed
I really like Nymphadora and Cho! I like Lilly too but my mare’s named that…and I like Emmeline but my sister’s barrel mare has that name! I have too many animals tbh ? Oooo, AndHenry I really like Ash and Charlie! I have a minor obsession with Supernatural so those may enter the running too…although I do have my heart set on HP…hmmmmm. So many great ideas! I’m still leaning towards Lavender or Nymphadora (Tonks was one of my favorite characters…and I love the name ‘Nymph’! It has a very strange, not normal feel to it…which is kind of what I’m going for!). THERE ARE TOO MANY IDEAS FOR MY POOR LITTLE BRAIN TO HANDLE ? Keep the ideas coming y’all!

ABH – as soon as I said Nymphadora aka Nymph I kinda loved it!Team Nymph(adora)!!!!
I wasn’t sure what I thought about it at first but the more I roll it over in my head the more I like it…that’s how it was with Luna’s name, took me about a week to finally settle on it. Even though it was the first name suggested to me, just took a while for it to grow on me
Same thing happened with my dog Maximus…he was just ‘puppy’ for like a solid week

…So far I am still leaning towards either Lavender or Nymphadora…probably more towards Nymphadora ‘Nymph’ though (I REALLY liked Bellatrix but I can’t get over how much I hated the character sooooo ?) Hmmm…I should probably have reached a decision by this time next week ??? -

I have officially decided (for now ?) that her name is going to be Nymph(adora)! Thanks for the suggestions y’all…I’ll definitely be tucking them into my pet-naming arsenal for any other animals we have come through the house (whether temporarily in a foster type arrangement or permanently)
