  I provide my doe with unlimited amounts of oxbow timothy hay in her hay rack at all times. Unfortunately, it’s getting hard to do because she’s pulling all of it out of her hay rack within an hour onto the cage of her floor and leaves it to get soiled. I hate to keep providing more if it will only get pulled out and wasted. It seems like she’s losing interest in her hay and favors pellets and veggies alone, and we all know hay is supposed to be the main part of her diet. Any tips on how to help this? Have any other bunny owners had this problem?

  I don’t give my bunnies a lot of hay all at the same time, I try to replenish they hay-box many times during the day instead. They never go completely without hay, of course, but I find they eat more hay when it’s “renewed” often. I still throw out quite a lot of hay, though, and there are hay in many places in my home.
  
  I had to try many different types of hay before I found a type that my bunnies will eat with any kind of relish. It’s an organic meadow hay. I top it off with some dried leaves (dandelion, apple f ex). Hay toppers can be bought or you can dry leaves yourself.
