Hi there! Rorschach is my new 9 (and a few days) old female mini rex, we got her two days ago, and I’ve got some questions about how to introduce her to hay and grass.

First: 

hay. I know she really needs it to stay healthy, but I don’t know if she had any in her original home. I got her a bag of alfalfa-type hay (I know, it’s imposter hay, but only sorta just grew up calling it that :p old habits die hard…) and she had a small to tube full of it last night, and I was given almost a gallon of food for her, although in not sure of the brand. I’m not going to try changing her food just yet, I figure getting her on hay is more important as it seems like good quality stuff. But my question is is can she go right into eating as much as she wants? I know babies have sensitive stomachs and I don’t want to make her sick, she loves it allot. How

 much can I give her? Or can she have it unlimited right away? She’s over 9 weeks and was when I got her.

Second:

How do I introduce her to Grass..? She got about ten stalks (with brown trimmed off and rinsed off, cut around 5 inches from the ground. We have about 10×150 feet of hey-type grass in our lawn thanks to farms) and she got that last night too.  She’s pretty settled in; and has been running around and approaching the other animals with no issue. (The dove Aloette is offended by her presence, the cat thinks he has a mini-me and seems to like her, while the dog thinks she is a baby she needs to protect… Ro wasn’t pleased with any of them at first, but by the first morning had decided that all of them were her bestest cuddle buddies. More on this later in the behavior section…) She will readily take food/hay from people and eat it, sprawls out, and runs around like she drank 10 cups of coffee… she dosen’t seem nervous in the least. So I’m not thinking she’s very stressed…
