Help! Bunny stopped using litter tray at all.

  Could someone please help me! My bunny is 6 months old in about two weeks and when she hits 6 months I will be getting her fixed. She started getting hormonal I guess about a month ago, chinning everything in sight and running around me in circles (to the point I have to walk really slowly anywhere through the house or I accidentally send her flying as she shoots around and around my feet!).
  
  If she’s on my bed (her fave place to be) she will freak out if I try to pick her up and make whimpering noises and run away from me. This only happens on my bed and she is not injured or sick.
  
  The main issue is that she has now stopped using her litter tray completely. She wees everywhere, sometimes flicks it all around and when she jumps on the couch with me she wees all over me and the couch. I have stopped her getting on the couch best I can but she is free range except when I am out or asleep, then I put her in “her room” (the laundry) and I feel awful because she just wants snuggles and pats with me and she’s VERY persistent. Also her wee is white and it seems to be getting thicker. Her tray is clean and just a kitty litter tray with hay in it. Nothing has changed and has been like that since I got her when she was 7 weeks old. We moved about a month and a half ago but she was using it fine up until the last few weeks. Any advice would be amazing, thanks!

  Not using the litter box is sometimes due to hormones and she is right at the crazy hormone age but it can also be caused by incontinence due to a bladder infection or UTI. Your description of the pee makes me think a vet visit would be best.

  OK thanks, will take her to the vet. If it’s hormonal will it probably stop after I get her desexed? I feel like it’s hormonal because it’s mostly in certain spots in the house.

  Territorial urination will stop once your rabbit is spayed. Sometimes if it goes on for a while, it can become a habit though. Since she’s 6 months old, that’s perfect timing for a spay. Cloudy/white and thick urine can be due to a UTI (often other symptoms too e.g. straining, increased frequency, teeth grinding). Cloudy urine can also be due to too much calcium in the diet (not a problem in a young rabbit). Maybe bring a sample to the vet if you can get a fresh one.
