So basically, we are at my parents house and have been for the last couple of days (my father died two days ago) and we took our bunny Loki with us. He was thrilled and hopping around for his morning lettuce (which includes a few bites of apple) but only ate the fruit. His poos are about the size of apple seeds (about 1/2 their original size) and we have not seen him eat pellets or hay but he did drink some water. As far as poo size goes, he is a dwarf hotot and weighs 3.5 pounds. The small poos have been occurring since last night

I read that GI stasis can be caused by too much fiber or lack thereof. He had a towel in his X-pen which is open and attached to his cage all day and we saw him eating strings. 

Our vet is in Denver, CO (where we live) and we are in Fort Collins (about an hour and a half away). To get him to the vet will be even more stressful because he hates the car. We aren’t in an area where bunny supplies are readily available but I am kind of lost as to what to do next. We don’t need another family death right now…
