The only thing I would say is how sure are you about his age? If the woman lied about everything else I mean? Bramble was such a well behaved bunny until he was around five or six months old, then he started showing signs of frustration and we decided to neuter him. I’m just saying that because if he is younger than you think then he might not be fully matured yet so his behaviours might change.
If you do want to get another bunny, you absolutely have to neuter/spay them both before bonding them.
Neutering doesn’t change a buns personality, but it does change some of their behaviours. Usually the ones you don’t want (humping, spraying etc) go away and the bun calms down a bit, but their personality remains largely the same. However, age can change their personality especially when it comes to being snuggly, most buns seem to like it when they are young but grow out of it I am afraid.
I would say (unless you decide to get another bun of course) that you don’t need to neuter unless his behaviour becomes unacceptable and/or you think he is suffering because he is frustrated which was the case for Bramble, he never sprayed or anything but he was obviously frustrated and it wasn’t good for him or us.
