  Maple, my little Audrey-bunny passed away suddenly. Not more then half an hour ago. I was with them and have no idea what happened.
  Please send her vibes for her journey to the Bridge

  Oh I’m so very sorry to hear this, its such a shock when we don’t expect it, whatever it was don’t worry about it whatever it was if she was ill she is better now and in no pain.

  Oh Kate, how terribly sad to be away for a few days (sorry) and come back to see this – I am just heartbroken for you. I am so sorry you lost your precious Maple. Gosh, I am struggling to find the words to offer you comfort knowing your devastation at losing your beautiful girl, it’s so dam unfair and I know how hurt you are. My throat is restricting and my eye’s are blurring as I write this. It’s awful when you love another’s bunny – how selfish of me to say that….
  
  I am sorry and am sharing in your loss – she’s such a pretty girl and we will all miss her terribly. Take care Kate (giving you a BIG hug) and know that your in our thoughts and Maple will always be in our hearts.
  And thank you Maple for loving and making my special friend Kate so happy while you were here with us. Wishing you peace and lot’s of binky’s in your new journey across the Rainbow Bridge. Missing you Maple. xo

  It still feels unreal that she’s gone. I was pretty weepy that night and the next day. She’s buried near Jersey and Jelly.
  I actually moved house 6 weeks ago but my sister and her 2 children live in my former home. So I was able to bury her there.
  
  Maple was a darling bunny and I’m missing her a lot. I grew very attached to her when I first brought her home as a “foster” & she gave birth that 1st week. Later, I was so grateful she came through her head tilt 18 months ago and went on able-bodied, content and back with her companions. Potamus and Gooseman are fairing well. I keep thinking of them as the trio in my mind still.

  Oh Jersey, I’m so very sorry to hear of your loss. Maple was such a beautiful girl. Sarita is right, I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t fall in love with that adorable face. I hope Potamus and Gooseman are able to comfort each other during this time. It’s obvious they all loved each other.

  Jersey–I’m just seeing this as well; I’m so sorry to hear about Maple. She was beautiful!! I’m sure she is having a blast in bunny heaven hopping around to her hearts’ content. Hugs to you!

  Thanks again everyone for your thoughts. It’s been hard, losing another in my arms. It also brings up emotions from when Jersey and Jelly passed.

  I’m so sorry, Jersey. She was gorgeous!- and a very blessed bunny to have you as her forever mom! I know she had a wonderful life with you, and got to have the happiness of bunny companions- but it always goes too fast, doesn’t it? ? That is one thing I wish I could change about bunnies- how very delicate they can be, and how short their lives are compared to ours. I hope that as time goes on, the good memories take over the sadness of loss.
