  I got my bunny 2 weeks ago, when I picked her up she had a lump on her ear which the breeder said it was due to her mum who had been nibbling on their ears, I didn’t think much of it and put warm salt water on it to see if that would help.
  
  Tonight I took out my bunny to play and I nearly cried when I saw her ear, I think she’s chewed at it!? I’m not sure.
  Does anyone know what could be wrong with her?
  
  She’s been perfectly fine, pooping, eating, playing, sleeping!
  
  Her ear has a yellow crust around it and is missing hair!!

  It could be mites, an infection or a small abcess that has burst. The best idea is get to the vets. Having it treated early will save you money and your bunny distress. I don’t think its life threatening but it does look uncomfortable.

  It looks like wet gangrene to me. You need to take her to the vet.

  Update!
  
  In the photo it looks wet because I had been dipping a cloth in warm salt water and bathing it once a day.
  
  However, one week later of continuing what I was doing, a big scab formed and fell off and her ear is perfect now mustve just been from what the breeder said, that her mum had chewed her ear a bit.
