  So I have 2 mini lops that I have had for a while, and for 5-6 months I have also had a Netherland dwarf – and that is the rabbit I am having problems with. All my rabbits are girls and spayed. I am still integrating the Netherland dwarf with the others and it is getting there.
  
  Problem: She is very territorial which includes lots of scent marking, pooing in the other rabbits’ favourite spots, humping to exert dominance and (pee) spraying. I can live with the first few items, but spraying is veeery difficult to manage. She has been spayed 3 months ago and that shouldn’t be happening. I am guessing she wants to be the dominant bunny in my flat, but that will not happen because the others are both bigger and more dominant by nature (the dwarf is a bit of a coward).
  
  Does anyone have any advice?
  
  Why is she still spraying? Has that to do with dominance?
  
  Will the spraying cease? What can I do?

  Yes, it’s a territorial thing, she wants to be dominant.
  Don’t assume she won’t be dominant just because the others are bigger – small buns can be boss too!
  
  I don’t think there’s much you can do about it until they’re bonded I’m afraid, other than move her somewhere the other buns don’t go.

  Definitely a territorial thing. I agree w/ Tessie, my smallest bunny is the biggest bully & bullies all the others around. Bonding can also come as a surprise. On more than 1 occassion, I thought I had it figured out when it came to who would be the dominant bunny but once finally bonded — I was wrong!

  The bonding is difficult because the little one is a coward – very skittish and never defends herself. At the same time she does not groom the others and they sure don’t like that

  Have you tried stress bonding them to help with that? Most people have a lot of success with taking them on a car ride together. They are bothed typically so stressed out they will lean on each other for comfort.
