Mr Roger doesn’t play with most toys. He’s previously enjoyed shredding a rabbit bed but seems pretty content with his current one. Otherwise, he’s only really interested in toys if he can eat it. He’s very happy this way and so as long as he’s kept out of destroying me things, I’m happy with it too.
It took many months for him to get the hang of even the first level of this puzzle (there’s 3 – the picture depicts level 2 – his favourite) from Pets at Home –
but now he loves to get food out and bang it about. We had to teach him to use it in close approximations – going close to it, touching it, leaving the lid with the food uncovered, lightly covered, lightly more covered, etc.
I was close to giving up on it, in all honesty. After a while, he was able to remove the disc completely by jumping in the right place.
He also uses a treat ball like this:
Only his is two shades of green. He also had to learn to use it in approximations but now loves it. I check every evening to make sure he’s been able to get his pellets out so he doesn’t go hungry.
Very occasionally he will throw about a tube filled with hay but otherwise isn’t interested.
We did make him a castle which he likes to sit in and sometimes renovate. It was a cardboard box and he loves being able to peak over the top. Initially we made a series of castles. We put hay inside the biggest one and the smaller ones were used as models for my wife’s Year 1 class.

I have no idea where the decent photo of him has gone, but apparently my wife put him on some sort of Happiness background:

He also has this one, which allegedly has a nut treat inside (I hadn’t checked until now!) but he’s never taken any interest in it and, if you ask me, it looks like the ‘nut’ is encased in a wooden ball.

The poops may because she’s had her free-roaming space increased dramatically and if it’s a problem you may need to confine her until she learns. But mainly that’s useful for pee problems; most bunnies will poop a bit regardless of how trained they are.
