  Meet Gimlet my new Brazilian Rainbow Boa. He’s snippy and a jerk face currently as most baby boas tend to be.
  
  He really REALLY hates my camera and starts striking the second he sees it.

  Oh wow, how pretty is he? This is great Sonn, congrats! Just make sure to handle him as much as you can so he will start to calm down.

  LB he is sooo pretty especially when the light hits him. He isn’t my first snake I have a ball python who was unusually snippy when he was young. Handling is key. Even when they are trying to bite your face. Lol.
  
  He definitely does not sleep in my bed! LOL! I’m not that crazy yet. Only doggies and cat sleep in my bed.

  Yet indeed. =P Not to the snake in my bed part just the crazy part.
  
  I squealed like a little girl the first time I fed a snake. I was 110% freaked out. But the food is frozen and I have really long feeding tongs so it isn’t too bad. But I really like snakes so I had to get over it. Lol.

  But then again Sonn, you didn’t exactly warn me either! A heading saying ‘new addition, not a bunny’ didn’t prepare me – I was expecting to see a super cute new puppy! Ha ha ha ha ha!
  Good to know Gimlet won’t be sharing your bed (lol!) and I’ll look forward to the day that you finally get ‘crazy’! So much more fun when your crazy!!! He he he……

  LOL! Okay he is like as big around as my thumb so a bite rarely even leaves a mark at that age.
  
  If I got a new puppy I think my landlord would eat me alive. I already have 3 big old mutts.

  Bunnies, kitties, doggies, and snakes. And I thought I was losing my marbles when I was tempted to bring home a dog from an adoption event today!

  It is actually Bunny, doggies, kitties, hedgehog, snakes, fish, and whatever fosters and strays I have. This week someone dropped 3 newborn hamsters at my door. I am pretty much a zoo. Lol. Wonder if I could start charging people to come to my house?
  
  I wasn’t a snake person and was pretty terrified of them until I was required to handle them and then loved them. So now I have 2.

  Aww, I love hedgehogs too! What a cutie! Mine was actually pretty nice as long as I was the one reaching in to pick him up. Once I had him out, anyone could hold him. I miss my little guy. =(

  Sonn, you’ve done it now! I’ve been looking at Rainbow Boas nonstop, I even watched a bunch of unboxing videos on youtube and I keep telling the hubby “Look, you can have them shipped to you… how cute would it be to unwrap a tiny baby boa… we need one!” He says no though. Yours is very cute! As is your hedgehog!!!

  My hedgie will let me do whatever to him he is just grumpy about it. Lol.
  
  I’ve wanted a rainbow boa for awhile and the Brazilians were my favorite. I thankfully don’t have to discuss it with anyone. Lol.
  
  I am attempting to keep them alive which is going quite well for now.
