  Hey guys, sorry for being inactive. These last two months I’ve just been really busy.
  
  Basically Riley was doing so good with his litter training but now he’s just stopped. Around new years he started kicking poop out of his litter box and sometimes pooping next to it. I’ve tried my best to put him in the litter box when I see him just sitting beside it. Reacently I went away for a night only to come home to a ton of poop with about 1/2 of it not in the litter box. To add to this for some reason today I started finding small puddles of pee.
  
  Something must of happened while I was gone because he’s avoiding his food like it’s cursed and he’s just staying in the bathroom, where his tray is. As well as peeing on the floor.
  
  While I was cleaning the latest puddle up he very kindly left me another one. Stangely he didn’t stop to pee, it just came out as he hopped over. The pee is very light coloured too which is weird because his pee is normally orange.
  
  So should I take him to the vet or just keep him away from the carpet?

  I would take him to the vet. I think this might be a problem with his urinary tract like a UTI.

  I was thinking that, considering it’s now 6am and I’ve spent all night cleaning up pee.
  He was dumb enough to flop down on the last puddle so he’s going to need a bath too.
  
  My plan is to stuff him in a pet carrier and clean the floor with bleach and get him a new litter tray just to kill all the pee smell.

  I was going to get mum to organise it since she has a car and a pet carrier.
  He’s kind of not pooping much now, only really small poops.
  I’m really worried but there’s nothing I can do.

  I think its UTI too. Your bunny is experiencing incontinence, the small puddles of urine are not on purpose but because he is leaking it unknowingly. Also, he might be experiencing some GI stasis thats why he is avoiding food and his poop is small. Bunnies experience GI stasis not only because of lack of fiber but also in response to other illness and stress.
  
  A course of antibiotic will help here. My bunny had this a few months back and she recovered with a 14 day dose of Enrofloxacin. However, UTI had a tendency of recurrence. I am suspecting the same for my bunny.
  
  The vet may also ask you to get a urine analysis/urine culture done for clarity of diagnosis.
  
  In the mean time, you can try giving them practin (its an appetite stimulant) and reglan & simethicone as per his weight.

  Yeah everything I read just says UTI, but I also think it might be a blockage since he’s shedding and there’s a nice long list of things he’s eaten that he shouldn’t of. Still mum is driving me to the vet in the morning, I was lucky and got an early appointment.

  You can suggest the vet for an ultrasound if you are suspecting a blockage. Good luck. I really hope your guy comes out of it smoothly.

  Ok $200 later he’s back from the vet with some drugs, so here’s hoping he comes good.

  The vet thought it was a bit of GI, but she said to bring him back if he doesn’t come good. She gave him a xray just to make sure he didn’t have a blockage.

  She only gave me stuff for his poop since she found no signs of UTI. She’s not a rabbit vet so idk….
  Nothing about incontinence either. And he’s still leaving puddles.

  My rabbit Usagi has a UTI and he was leaving little puddles around the room. Its almost all better he has a day or two left of his meds. It was similar to what is going on with your rabbit. I hope you can get something figured out.

  He seems of of gotten better, but he’s still peeing outside of his tray.
  Basically he’s pooping in the tray and then peeing when he hops out leaving a nice little trail for me to clean up >_>
  Anyone got any ideas on how to make him use the tray again?

  He seems to be going back to normal, which is good, but I’m still keeping an eye on him.
  To be on the safe side I got him a new litter tray. The old one was cracked anyway.

  Continue to keep an eye on him. As far as I know GI stasis doesnt cause incontinence. Also, check if there is hair loss and redness of skin around his man parts and hind legs. Thats another sign.
  
  Since you got his x-ray done, its good since the vet can check if there are stones in his bladder, bcs that can also cause incontinence.
  
  You can also go and see another vet if this one isnt considering the incontinence issue.
