I recently took in a second rabbit as someone I know wasn’t able to care for hers anymore. I’m still a fairly new rabbit owner, but figured my Mr. Business could use a friend. I did a lot of research on bonding. They seemed fine at first, they’d hump each other, which I read was normal so they could figure out who’s the boss. But tonight when I tried to put them together they ran all around the cage chasing each other. Doing flips. I don’t think they were biting, but it was quite scary none the less. I believe this rabbit is less than a year old, as the friend purchased it 8 or so months ago from the pet store when it was very small. Should I forgo bonding until I can get it fixed in a couple weeks? Will this even help? As it’s my neutered Rabbit who’s always initiating this. This incident has made me quite nervous about trying anything further. I don’t want either of them to get hurt. As you can tell, I’m quite the novice at this. Any advice is incredibly appreciated. You all helped me so much with my first rabbit who I’ve had for almost a year now.
