Peeing: Have you cleaned the place outside her litterbox with white vinegar/water? Is her litterbox emptied and refilled with fresh litter often? Have you recently changed brands of litter? Have you tried wiping up the pee with a paper towel and putting it in the litterbox?
Pooping: First, you may need to reduce the area where she free roams until she gets the litterbox idea. She may be pooping everywhere to mark her territory. Make sure to put some of the poops in the litterbox to help identify the litterbox as the place to “go”. Let the bunny see you do this!
A couple of things you do need to understand . . . While piles of poop are bunny pooping, random single poops are normally marking and “one just fell out” poops. There’s really nothing you can do about the ones that just “fall out”, they just happen. I will find a few of those whenever my lops have been out playing, and one or the other will shoot one out at the start of a bunny 500. Normal bunny poops are not like dog and cat poop. Bunny poop are mostly undigested hay — it sounds gross, but break one open and you’ll see. I know it’s not the most pleasant thing to see, especially for non-bunny people who think bunny poop is like dog poop! Bunny cecals (the dark smelly ones that look like a blackberry) should really not be seen since bunnies eat those for nutritional purposes as they come out. If you see those, it may be time to adjust bunny’s diet a little because it may be too rich.
