Hi!

So I do have a weird question. I recently got my first bunny spayed and everything went smoothly…EXCEPT for the pain medicine I needed to give her every morning through the syringe. She didn’t take to it very well and I hated forcing her to take it. Well I hate forcing her to do anything but somethings are important..like the pain medicine.

Anyway, shes all set and healthy and happy. Now, it is time for my youngest bun spayed and I am worried because shes the always been my more difficult child lol. If my older bun is the more go with the flow type and she wasnt taking to the meds…I wonder how my more challenging bun will take it lol

So I guess my question is this, is there some kind of mixture that bunnies DO like that I can put together and feed her through a syringe a few days before so she is less scared of it when the time comes? Maybe mashed oats and water?

Has anyone ever done that before?

I know its kinda strange but I figure if I make it look like a treat, she will be less freaked out when it comes time to administer the meds. lol
