  I noticed on Cookies feet today while doing her nail trim two very small hard scabs on the backs of her feet (one on each) they are not raw or weeping and assume they are in the healing process since they have already scabbed, the issue I am continually battling with is flooring, any thing soft like rugs, blankets, carpet just get dug, chewed and destroyed, there is no wire on the bottom of her cage. She is not litter trained as she is not spayed, I tried to get it done at 6 months but she ended up with a chest infection and then an unexpected litter so here we are now with her spay appt tomorrow morning, before I go on and on I am wondering if her weeing all over the place and then stepping in it has caused the sore hocks and hoping once she is spayed and her litter habits improve so will her feet. Currently she is on lino over floor boards and destroys anything soft, any suggestions on floor options and sore hocks would be great

  Calendula cream, Neosporin (minus the pain relieving stuff ; the basic one), Silvadine and A&D Original Ointment are some of the ointments safe on bunny skin.
  
  Since Cookies’ wounds do not sound too severe as of yet, you can apply the medicines twice/once a day. My bun Moshu had something similar. I wrapped her in a bunny burrito, kept her on my lap on my lap, got her in bunny trance and applied Neosporin on the affected area. I kept her that way for about 4-5 minutes. I know its very stressful for them..but the moment you will let them off, they will lick the medicine off.
  
  Apart from ointments, this article suggests you can use bubble wrap in her cage. You can try this..though if it were my bunny, she would have torn that too.

  Thank you so much for both of those links they are great, I would love to use memory foam and fleece but she is a determined digger, I am hoping once she is spayed the digging might be reduced a bit and I might have a better chance of using fleece, The vet will check over her hocks while she is being spayed today and hopefully they aren’t too bad.
