Look on Amazon – most are 4 feet x 4 feet. The taller the better.

What do you mean by bedding? Do you mean litter for the litter box?

I got a massive pen off amazon really cheap I cant remember the actual sizes but its easily over six feet long by at least five feet wide, put it this way I am 5foot four and I can lie across it width ways and its way bigger than me length ways, its also pretty tall, just about up to my waist. I am in the UK though but I am sure you could get something similar in the US.

If you are using a pen you can put a fleece blanket at the bottom if your bun doesn’t chew it that’s what we have for Bramble in his pen, for a cage most people say you shouldn’t put anything in the bottom because they think the whole thing is a litter tray but Bramble (and all my previous buns) have wood shavings at the bottom of his cage and he only ever goes in one corner (he is only in his cage at night). if using wood shavings you do have to be careful about the type of wood though, some are not suitable for bunnies.

Okay, one of those if configured in a square is 4 feet x 4 feet. You don’t really want bedding per say for the flooring…I’ve just used carpet when I’ve done the pens.

I think Sarita means those carpets you can buy at, say, Home Depot (Lowe’s doesn’t have ’em) either several smaller ones or longer runners. They can be cut, too, if necessary. Makes cleaning nice because you can take them outside and clean and return when dry

Carpet is fine, but if he shows any interest in chewing on it, a piece of regular linoleum works fine as well. I personally use fleece, I find mine don’t chew on it as long as it is held taught, I put bricks in the corners of the condo to hold it down.

Bramble chews everything in sight – except his fleece blanket its weird. he will sometimes play with it and dig at the sides and stuff occasionally he will pull it about with his teeth, but he never actually chews it.

I agree wood shavings are a pest when they find their way out of the cage but I cant bear him having nothing in the bottom and his current night time cage is too small to fit a big blanket in. once his condo arrives (ongoing saga) I hope to only use them in his litter tray.
