So after days of racking my brain as to how to make a ramp for my fatty senior bunny’s new condo, I finally came up with a solution that works. Well he is still scared to go up but we’re working on that. I tried fleece on coroplast on top of NIC grids and he was slipping down. My bunny is a huge chewer so things like carpet and wood were not an option.
Basically for my ramp I have 2 grids zip tied together. I then zip tied coroplast along the edges to it and zip tied the whole thing to the grid wall and the level it goes up to. I then took 2 17″ long seagrass mats and zip tied them to the grid wall as well.

I then drilled 6 holes in the coroplast to attach the mats to it and the grids below. 2 holes per zip tie.

I then zip tied the two mats together with just one tie.

Here he is going down

I still need to put a dowel for support under the ramp and some fleece on the edges to cover the zip ties and cut the outer zip ties. I’ll update with new pics when its all done
he is still in his old cage…this was just a test run haha.
EDIT: how do I post pictures?? Lol I tried html and the square brackets img tag…neither are working. I uploaded to photobucket
