Gosh, I am so incredibly sad that you lost your Harley and Sally – I can’t imagine your grief, I am so sorry. Lets just hope that whoever found them loved them so much they wanted to keep and enjoy them, why they didn’t advertise them as found. Honestly, who could resist them? I couldn’t!

My goodness, look at Bam! Ha ha ha ha! Talk about super sweet! I can see how he brings you so much happiness. He is still adorable! Thank you for all the pic’s – you made my day! I hope is all is well and please, don’t stay away again. I really truly missed you NBO!

Hi NBO! So glad to see you’re back. I know you felt awful about what happened and you weren’t ready to talk about it. Don’t ever think that we would look down on you or make you feel guilty for what happened. It wasn’t your fault and you thought you were doing what was best at the time. You could have never know that that would happen. So I’m very glad that you’re back and I hope you will stick around. We missed you around here.

And I want to think like Andi does. Perhaps someone found them and thought they were so cute that they couldn’t resist keeping them for themselves.

Welcome back! I’m sorry to hear about Harley and Sally. I remember running out of my house to get my rabbit back onto my property. I think I scared a neighbor in the process since I ran out in gym shorts and nothing else. (Don’t visualize, you might lose your eyesight). I got her back shortly thereafter but it was very scary to have her away from the house where I know there are other pets loitering around.

That actually happened to a woman I know. No idea what people get out of it, but apparently opening someone else’s rabbit hutch is a thing. I’m so sorry.

Bam’s pictures are great though. He’s such a little character.

NBO— Somehow I never heard about what happened to Sally and Harley? But I just wanted to let you know that I’m super sorry to hear about that, It’s sometimes even worse to not know what happened.

I have always loved your Bam.  So sorry to hear about Sally n Harley.  People have no business opening hutches like that.  They may be in good hands.   Someone may have wanted them.  

Had a bunny on my porch in a cage for a few hours to get some fresh air.  A neighborhood kid took him.  I found thi kid n got him back. Maybe thats what happened with yours.  But with a young adult who kept them. 

Please dont stay away again.  I miss you and Bam 

This almost made me cry. That is seriously so sad. I am SO sorry :'( You must miss your babies so much..
On the other hand, 1. Bam is absolutely beautiful, and I am obessed with his eyes. 2. It is NOT your fault. If your two buns were anywhere near as gorgeous as Bam, they were probably stolen. But fortunately, there are things you can do.
First, get some photos of your old bunnies and print them out. Give them to any local shelters and vets (especially near your friends house) and explain the situation. Ask if they can keep the pictures where they can see them so they can spot the bunnies if someone brings them in. If that does happen, they will probably be brought in separately, so the vet/shelter should check out who the owner is. Especially if they live near your friend’s house! Also, check Craigslist for the WHOLE state. If the post doesn’t have a photo, but the description sounds familiar, them check it out and have them send you a photo.
You can also take some of their favorite treats and wander near your friends house. Call their names and shake the treats. Try to find places that they would be likely to have gone.

I’m sorry that this happened to you, truly I wish you a lot of luck.
