Hi all, somewhat new bunny owner here. My girlfriend and I have two girls that we keep at her home. We are both in college, I’ll be graduating in May 2015 with a full-time job lined up. Our girls are both mini lops, a black glossy one of about 5.5 months, and a white/brown around 7-8. To give you a summary, we love them very dearly. We’ve learned a lot from them, and we’re committed to giving them a great life. They have their own room, large enough, renovated, and decked out with long runs. They love it. They are unbonded and haven’t been spayed yet, but that’ll be coming very soon. (Sort of working out the basics before we bond them). To cut to the chase now, we heard of a rabbit living in not so good conditions (we were shown a video of her being chased by someone trying to throw an alcoholic drink on her. She got away.) But we decided to rescue her less than 24 hours later. We’ll have her before this time tomorrow and we have a full setup for her already. I’m just wondering what to expect. I’m prepared for behavioral issues, we just want to know that we’ve done the right thing. Alternatively, we’re trying to get her a good home. But, we trust our own experience more than others and would only be willing to pass her along to someone we both know very well and could work with to teach them what we know. She’s a beautiful black and white girl, age looks less than a year. Please give us tips!!
