Hi everyone!
I’m looking into heading to the UK for 2 years on a working holiday visa. I’d love to bring my fluffy friend, however reading UK strict quarantine laws.. it would seem he would have to be in quarantine for four months if I were to fly from Australia to UK and I really do not want to do that (can imagine the financial issues; not to mention stress for my bunny).
I’m wondering if any of you guys know if I were to travel to say a European country first and then to the UK if I would avoid quarantine? Since it says:
There are no restrictions on bringing pet rodents, rabbits, birds, ornamental fish, invertebrates, amphibians and reptiles to the UK from other EU countries.
Whereas travelling from Australia/Out of Europe:
Pet rabbits and rodents from countries outside the EU must spend 4 months in quarantine” …and then it goes on about rabies injections, etc. Which I find confusing since Australia is listed as a country which isn’t at risk of rabies.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, or even a point in the right direction to learn more to try avoid this silly law.
