I have a dutch bunny who is no more than two years old. He’s fixed, and bonded (no idea if it’s relevant). He usually has a nice, soft, warm nose that wiggles like crazy. However, about a month ago I started noticing some sneezing/sniffling, but at that point the nose was still normal dryness and temperature so I figure it was just changing temperatures. Starting today his nose was wet and cold. We do feed him greens and stuff out of the yard that we cleared with our vet and via checking sites like Binky Bunny (we switched from store-bought earlier this year to save money). The hay is the same hay we’ve fed him since he outgrew alfalfa. We tend to spoil him with larger handfuls of pellets for him to munch on as he wants (he’s pretty restrained about eating them, which is why we’re okay with it). Given the season, I thought it might be allergies. However, I figured I’d see if there was any worry about him being actually sick since I know sick bunnies can become dead bunnies fairly quickly. Anyone have any suggestions or insights?
