We have this festival called Diwali (some of you must have heard of it, its one of the major festivals hre) where people burn fire works like crazy. We burned some too, but none which create noise. But it was quite loud outside. Like any rabbit, Moshu was scared but she dealt with it like a hero. I held her to my chest and gave her kisses, after sometime she got away from me and hid under the bed. She isnt showing any signs that would say she isnt well. She is a bit restless but responding to affection and eating and pooping normally.

I am really concerned about one thing. I went out for half hour when I felt that she’s feeling better under the bed than on my lap, I came back and next thing I see is that she was left unsupervised by my sister and hopping around the packets of sparklers. I freaked out and I am still extremely worried.

Have any of your pets licked/sniffed a bit sparkler dust ? This happened some 3 hours back. The fact that she isnt showing any undesirable signs after 3 hours…should I stop worrying or there may be some slow, latent effects going on inside her ?

I see that sparklers are also used on wedding cakes but I am not sure whether the ones made for putting on cakes has the same or different chemical composition than the ones which we use on Diwali ?

I am feeling so pathetic.
