Hello

I have a pen in my living room that the rabbits take turns in, Ferg for one week, Ted for the next, etc. It is open at all times and gives them the option of having free run of the house. Two of them love it and are running around constantly, but Olaf seems to not understand he can leave the pen.

If I take him out, he’ll run around and play for a while, then goes to a certain corner of the room and will stay there until I put him back. I tried waiting but he went nearly all day without going back to his pen, then when I put him in there he instantly went to his litter box like he really had to use it. If I do not take him out of the pen, he’ll lay in his litter box or on the floor all day, but will not leave. The whole bottom of the pen is open at all times.

I’m just not sure why he doesn’t seem to understand he can go as he pleases. Is this normal for rabbits, or is he just a little slow?
