My rabbits have been getting on a lot better than i thought they would be, my female rabbit (Nako) was neutered last month and she was once an aggressive rabbit, she has calmed down a lot. My male Moko is not neutered however, but he isn’t aggressive whatsoever. And Nako is pretty laid back so i thought that she’d tolerate humping action if it happened.
But there has been no humping since the start of the bonding? I don’t know if I should be concerned or not, they seem to be fine when eating hay together. The first day or two they have a few nips, and a few chases that i stopped immediately. But i’ve been really surprised to see no humping what so ever?
I can’t tell who the dominant rabbit is either. Moko, the male will occasionally groom Nako’s forehead and ears, but they like to shove each others heads under eachothers chins. It’s really difficult to know who is dominant or not.
They have been laying down and grooming together, and they seem to be friends but I still wouldn’t let them be together without supervision. I’m just curious if no humping is concerning?
