Edit to ADD – you could always do the Aussie thing and call her ‘Blue’! We call anything red/ginger ‘BLUE’! Again, don’t ask why…

Well congrats again on a new bunny. I thought it was Biscuit at first too. I don’t know why but the name Freya came to mind when I look at her.

She’s a big girl! Not suggesting this as a name (its a mouthful too) but she looks like a caramel cream candy — I didn’t say anything to him but showed hubby the pic and he said the same thing! Maybe Carrie. (Don’t go there AH!!!)

Edit — nothing wrong with the name BM, but AH will say you can’t call her that because it’s my tv name.

Speaking of Wally, we had the sweetest female dog named Walter when I was growing up. We tried to change her name but she would only answer to Walter (although my grandfather insisted on calling her Tinkerbelle).

I like Carrie. Although I had a hamster named Carrie (short for Caramel) when I was a kid, so I’m probably being biased. LOL

Caremel . . . Karma! (fate — your hubby fell in love with her, you got two other bunnies, went back and got her!)

Well JR, if BM calls her Carrie – whose gonna name their bunny Debra after my TV character???

If you decide on Carrie for her name BM, you’ll have to go out and get another bunny and call it Debra!

Butternut. Like butter nut pumpkin. They are autumnal and somewhat the same color. And you can say ” You butter nut, Butternut” when she wants to chew cables, carpet, wall-paper etc.

I would call my kitty Butters and Butterball. I didn’t like his real name (Buddy), but he came with it and he responded to it so it was difficult to change.

You know, if you find a name you like, then just start calling her that and see if it sticks. My husband did that to me numerous times. He liked a name, so he just starting calling said pet that name and it would eventually stick. It didn’t matter if I was undecided or didn’t really like the name. LOL

I’m good with Butternut, but not so much with Nine. She’s too pretty to be called Nine. Tell the hubby that the WE have decided on Butternut!

I agree with JackRabbit, she’s much too pretty to be Nine. Plus, she has the right coloring to be a Butternut. PLUS, Butternut sounds adorable (Nine does not sound adorable). The BB has decided. He has no say anymore!!
