My rabbit Dewey is recovering from another episode of GI Stasis. We had to feed him critical care and it got messy.  He now has green on his paws, and around his mouth.

He has been through so much, I have not bothered him with cleaning it off.  Under his chin, he has some fur stiff with the stuff.

Should I even bother to clean him?  How can I remove this stuff? He hates even being brushed.

Try a warm wet washcloth and gently remove the stuff. You may have to hold it on the harder spots to soften them, and it may take a few sessions of this if its really caked on.
