So a question for you other free roamers.
Merlin and Luna are total free roam. When I first got Merlin he had a cage as I wanted him to have his own space to feel safe in, and When they were bonding Luna had a cage. Nowadays they are free to move about as they like. They have hidey holds all over the place, baskets and cardboard boxes and all sorts. Due to the layout of the flat, they have access to the bedroom, corridor and ‘the bunny room’. The bunny room is our spare study, and its filled with toys and tubes and climby things. Now, the thing is, even though they have access to ALL THIS, they pretty much stay in the bedroom, where my partner and I are. They sleep under the bed, play with the curtains, etc. They do go into the bunny room sometimes, but yeah, mostly one room. Do your buns do this? prefer one room over a lot of others? I sometimes feel bad, like they aren’t having enough space to run around. I dont want them hemmed in, but the door is ALWAYS open, they just like to be near the humans!
Second question – since they’re used to space, and excercise time is not a daily treat event as they’re allowed to be around as they please, I get no binkies or 500s
Is that the case f or anyone else? They are happy and show it in the way they relax and the purring noises but no binks
I know its because they’re spoilt for space to run around but. yeah.
Thoughts? Any other free roamers want to weigh in?
