Noggin is 5½ years old now and has been single since Jack’s sudden death in April. We feel like it’s time for her to meet somebunny new and our local rescue has been keeping us updated on two 4-month old boys that were born at their shelter. Both are neutered and Noggin will be going to meet then in the next 2 or 3 weeks. We are not looking for love-at-first-sight but rather them to tolerate one another in hopes that bonding will work (this is what we did with Jack and Noggin and bonding went pretty easy). If, by some crazy chance, Noggin accepts both boys (who have been living separate for the past month) we would consider adopting both.

Does anyone have any feedback on this situation. One middle-aged bunny girl meeting two young single boys… is this a terrible idea?

Why are the boys living separate? Were they just neutered? Would be nice if the rescue could get them together…

I don’t think this is a bad idea, assuming they hit it off… The new location may help the boys bond, and as long as she can be the “top bun”, it could be a seamless (relatively seamless) transition.
