I noticed under my rabbits chin that there is bald spot. After watching him I noticed my male rabbit is pulling his fur out right above his dewlap (yes I am sure he is a boy). He seems to actually be biting and pulling it out and not licking. It doesn’t seem wet but there it does look a little crusty in the middle by a fold of skin. It almost looks like something is healing. He is an inside bunny and lives with my other (female) rabbit. Neither are aggressive towards each other. I know he isn’t shedding right now and the bald spot looks just like bald skin, scaly, or red (besides for the crusty part in the middle and a small spot below it that looks like he bit himself) What should I do? Should I let him continue pulling his hair out? Stop him when I see him do it? Should I cover the spot with something? I won’t be able to get to the vet for a few days. I’m so worried. I need help and advice!
