Trying not to panic right now, but I just noticed my little Holland Lop has a small damp/wet spot on his lip, just beneath his right nostril. He’s 11 weeks old, and he’s acting completely normal. He’s never had this before, and there’s no visible discharge from what I’m seeing, so could this be just a little splash from his water bottle? He likes to lie down underneath of it sometimes. He’s in an x-pen, and the only “bedding” is pine pellets in his litter box. They turn to a compact clump of sawdust when wet, and it doesn’t really look like it’s powdery, so it couldn’t be a result of that, right? I’m a new bunny owner, as you’ll probably know from my last posts. He’s being given his hay, pellets, and fresh water every day. I make sure his cage is always clean, and he gets plenty of exercise every day. Is this my fault? I’m sorry if this seems like common sense, I just want to make sure before I take him to the vet. Thanks to all who take the time to read this!
