Of all of our bunnies, Obie is the most emotional. We recently replaced everyone’s litterboxes with new ones (the old ones were getting icky) Everyone was fine with the change – except Obie. His old box sat in the same corner all the time, he always used it. So we put the new one in the same spot. He’s not impressed. He’s constantly moving it around and instead of using the box, he most often goes in the corner where his old box was! Now he’s decided instead of a litter box, its a good box for keeping his toys and food dish in lol. He also gets angry at it and gnaws at it and shoves it hard around the cage. Do they make bunny counselors? lol

Its just a reminder of how amazed I am by their individual personalities and traits.

And some people say bunnies don’t have personalities!
Sounds like he does not like the new box…. Ha ha ha!

             Small bunnies huge personality.

Sounds like he wants his old litterbox back.  Bunnies are something else sometimes.

When I clean litterboxes if Cotton has to go he goes where the litterbox is supposed to be lol     Cotton doesn’t fuss when he gets a new litterbox.  The one I replaced I tripped over the bedroom barrier and landed hind end on his litterbox lol.  He needed a new one after that.

My daughter is a psychology student with a real gift for counseling. She thought I’d gone over the deep end when I asked her if she thought Gus was depressed because a couple of days after Gracie died, he was hanging his head in my arms, hanging his ears… She agreed that sounded like bunny depression. Fortunately I rebooted him with a play date with the others he isn’t housed with but gets along with. Wish yours was an easy fix like that

                      WIN!!!! (I think!)

After several hours, the new litterbox is in its proper spot and has fresh poos in it. Go Obie!!
