  I’m sorry for any spelling mistakes to start with and I hope I’m on the right topic.
  
  I took on a bunny a month ago she went for a check up and was healthy so I booked her in for a spay. She wasn’t looked after so she was very smelly and weed everywhere. She went in to be spayed and two days after she had her post op check. She had opened her wound and didn’t seem a happy girl so she stayed in over night and picked up brilliantly. After a week she went back because she was so smelly again and she got shaved and she still isn’t clean now her fur is growing back. She’s been on antibiotics because they said she may have cystitis. She’s still on them.
  
  It’s been a week since being at the vets and last time they said if she didn’t improve she could have a scan but then it’s trying to find out what to do next. She is a lazy bunny anyway but she has a few good days and then quite a few bad days. She doesn’t eat a lot and Sometimes it’s a lot harder too get her to eat but she does. She wees and poos like normal. She is an albino and she’s roughly a year old.
  
  My vet is really good but I don’t know if they are a rabbit vet as they are just exotic. I live in market Drayton so I can’t find many vets without travelling. Everywhere. I’m getting worried and crying a lot. She gets washed as the vet told me to because of it being really warm.

  you NEED to get her checked out to make sure her suture is still closed and isn’t infected. are you able to touch it does it feel warm?

  I am assuming the washing is for the urine on her fur ? Generally a butt bath would be sufficient or if it is just staining maybe try dry bathing… Did the vet say why you should bath her ? I would worry about using water especially if she still has a wound with sutures as water can travel along them and cause infection.
  Also what is her usual diet… Bunnies need at least 80% unlimited hay, 15% greens like basil, coriander, bok choy, mint, parsley etc with high levels of vit E.. a good combination of 3 twice a day in small serves depending on her weight and limited pellets.
  Most of our vets here have profiles on the web pages that outline their specialties, maybe you could have a look and see what your vet has experience in… It does sound like they are trying to find the cause and not being a vet myself I certainly would not attempt to second guess them. Sometimes if progress is slow it is easy to feel that enough is not being done..
