Hi all, this is my first post I literally joined like 2 minutes ago. Anyway, I’m adopting a Flemish Giant this week and I’ve already bought pretty much everything I need except a few little odds and ends I can pick up later (not my first rabbit, but my first bigggg rabbit). I plan on housing the bunny in an xpen until he/she is litter trained, then pretty much letting the rabbit have free run of the house.

That’s all kind of irrelevant to my question though, I was just wondering what kind of flooring you guys would suggest using for the xpen? Preferably something cheap because I’m a broke college kid, easy to maintain and safe for the rabbit. Thank you!

It’s recommended that you have hard floors because soft stuff can confuse them on where to poop/pee. You can use linoleum, and then later add some fleece if you want something softer and she has mastered the litter box. Makes it easy to wash that way.
          Welcome!
