  Our little bunny is about 11 weeks old now, had him for about a month now. I’ve read all the guides and done what I can to litter train him, but it’s not really working.
  
  He does poop/pee in his litter box, but I feel that’s just because he’s spending a lot of time there. The poop I can live with, even though it would be nice to have it only in his litter box. But the pee is really driving me crazy.
  
  I’ve tried different litter box “setups”, cleaning up the pee in other places with vinegar to remove the smell, keeping him off the bed etc… but I still find he pees in other places.
  
  When I see him poop outside his litterbox, I put the poop in the litterbox and put him in there as well. Though this is only a few times a day, because I can’t watch him 24/7. The pee incidents are usually at night, so no way to monitor there.
  
  I feel he’s not getting it… he’s just using it when he’s there, but he doesn’t consider it as his toilet to go to when he needs to go.

  Litter box training is going to be hard until your little one is fixed. There are some buns though that prefer to do their poo in one litter box and pee in another. So it does depend. But I do suggest getting your little fixed when the time comes. It will help with litter training.

  Mine sleeps in the litter pan and goes next to it. *sigh* I’ve tried everything. I decided as long as it pretty much all occurs in that cage – to each his own. He hasn’t ever pee’d anywhere but in that cage – and I think that’s just to fantastic to complain about. LOL
  
  My other one – who uses that litter faithfully… pees on my couch ever so often! I’d rather have it all in the cage than the occasional pee on my nice couch.

  BunnyBrigade: I’m a bit sceptical about this, because getting him fixed later would only stop the hormones that he doesn’t even have yet. But everyone keeps saying this, so I guess there’s truth in it. Thanks for the advice.
  
  Katscarpena: LOL, mine used to eat in the litter box, then jump out to poop. Lucky yours doesn’t pee anywhere outside the cage though!

  Don’t worry. When Sienna was a baby, he was IMPOSSIBLE to litter train. Babies are still young, and go wherever they walk.

  Litter training takes time and patience. I just remember my baby when I first had her, it’s her childhood days. I tried everything about litter training just like yours, she even peed on bed and table where my laptop is. But days and days passed and I keep an eye on her, as she grow older I saw the changes of her toilet habits. I dunno if this help but my baby learns how to use litter box even she’s not yet fix. Other says it’s really hard to train a young bunny and sometimes they even forgot it compare to the old ones.

  Omg. My Lionhead dwarf, Lulu, looks a lot like your profile picture and she does THE SAME thing where she pees close to the box. aughhhh.
