I just got a male netherland dwarf/lop mix bun (Gizmo) on Saturday. On day one/two we let our female angora dwarf mix (Dahlia) in to visit because he was still in his cage and we didn’t know any better. They had met once before we got him and this was a repeat of before: Love at first sight. Lots of licking and flopping and so and so. Then we were told this wasn’t smart because it could stress him out so we stopped her little visits. But now any time either one of them is out they stand at the door to the other bun’s room, trying to dig though and thumping when they cant get in. They won’t get fixed until the 20th and I wasn’t planning on bonding them until July but she continues to sneak her way in between my legs every time I stop in his room for a second so now I can’t have her out at all if I’m going to touch his door at all.
I feel like his appetite has too low and I’m worried I’ve totally stressed him out and I don’t know what to do. Hes still full of energy and his food is being picked at and hes pooping but compared to her it seems he doesn’t poop/eat as much. Of course, I’ve only had him for a few days so I don’t really know what is normal for him either.
