I agree with Sarita. That’s around the time I noticed Bumpy slowing down a bit. Then he had a slow and gradual increase in attempts to court me, circling my feet and nipping at my clothes. I know he sprayed one of the cinderblocks being used as a base for his cage on one occasion and the territorial poo ball marking increased a LOT. I chose to neuter him before he got out of control, and within 2 weeks the poo ball area had shrunk in half.
He’s had a few days where he’s much more active than others, but he’s definitely slowed down on the binkies and bunny 500s.
OH! I also want to mention. it seems that the MORE TIME Bumpy is allowed to be out (for him it’s anywhere between 12-20 hrs free-roam) the less “excited” he is about being out. He generally exhibits more enthusiasm and energy when his free time is less. I could have him free-range 24/7, but I’ve been dragging my feet about it, for fear of taking away one of the things that he really looks forward to doing. Undecided, though not to his detriment really, since anytime he runs about asking to come out he is instantly granted freedom.
