  Hoping for some insight or at least some reassurance on my situation…
  
  Ziggy use to be a fickle fellow. But after his neutering and the couple of months for his hormones to dissipate, he’s been a respectable bun.
  
  I took him to the vet about 3 wks ago and he was given a perfect bill of health.
  
  But about a week ago, he started growling and charging the door whenever someone would knock or ring the bell. He hasn’t attacked me. He’s also been extra nosey and I’ve caught him climbing the bookshelf as well as the bird stand.
  
  He’s eating & pooping normally. Nothing’s change there.
  
  I just find it weird that he’s suddenly coming to me for pets more (not that I’m complaining). I even caught him and the budgie playing on the floor (a 1st & total shock for me!! but adorable). But yet he’s so angry at guests or simply someone outside the apt door.
  
  How long should I let this continue before I bring him back to the vet? Since he just recently went, I don’t want to drop another wad of cash this second if it’s not necessary.

  I think if he just went to the vet 3 weeks ago and all was good, then I would just continue to watch his behavior.
  
  Perhaps he is just finally feeling comfortable enough to show how he really feels :~)
  
  I don’t think it’s uncommon to be “angry” at guests – I think it’s a feeling of distrust about someone behind the door. Although that does make me wonder…do you live in an apt. where maybe maintenance has come in while you were away and scared him? Just a thought.

  I never thought about a possible maintenance person coming in! Yes, I do live in an apt. Hopefully he’ll calm down once he realizes no one’s coming to eat him. Just seemed weird that he was getting aggressive, yet getting friendlier with myself and the birds.
