Alright I’ve noticed this behavior with three of our rabbits, at different points when they have met a new rabbit.  They seem to bite, or nip the other one, but it doesn’t go to skin, just the fur. The fur ends up wet, and no fur is pulled out. It seems rough, which is why he assumed it was a bad thing.  But we aren’t sure what it is.

Keter did it to one of the smaller babies and she seemed frightened by the baby. This was just a test to see if Keter would like the little babies, as Cupcakes had previously been very interested in having the younger buns next to her.

Cupcakes has done it, or attempted to do it, to the other buns if she is with Keter. She only started to do this after we had both her and Keter out with a baby. It also seems she has tried to do this when Mochi has been out and come near her and Keter’s cage. Mochi is an unfixed male, which I am sure is part of it though he shows no interest in the other rabbits other then a mild curiosity. 

Voldemort did it to Susu, we were trying to see if them and Cheezburger would play together as they are all around the same age, Susu being the oldest. Both Susu and Voldemort are rather fearless when they are let out, they like to explore.  We haven’t let Susu and Cheezburger near Voldemort since, as he is much larger them them, being a Flemish, and I’m a bit paranoid about him hurting them.

Keter and Cupcakes are both closer to 6mo, and very much bonded to each other, while Voldemort is barely two months and currently side by side with Mochi, who is alone due to him being intact.

Is this a sign of aggression? Would it be wise to not try and introduce the rabbits who have done this to any other rabbits?  We were hoping to at least get Voldemort to meet with Mochi and try bonding them once they are fixed.
